OnePlus teased its new product, OnePlus TV a few weeks ago. And since then, the company is dropping bit-by-bit details of the upcoming product. Earlier, we got to know about details like display size and operating system. And now, OnePlus Founder and CEO, Pete Lau has officially mentioned that the upcoming OnePlus TV will be powered by the Gamma Color Magic processor.
Talking about OnePlus TV, it is confirmed that the product will feature a 55-inch QLED panel with a 4K resolution and will be running on a modified version of Android TV. According to some reports, the company has confirmed that the TV will get the software updates for at least three years.
For the best cinematic experience, OnePlus TV will also feature eight speakers which are powered by Dolby Atmos. Not only this, according to the company, the OnePlus TV will also get the Dolby Vision support which means that the TV can play HDR 4K video content.
Coming back to the Gamma Color Magic Processor. It will be a customized processor, that the OEM will use to bring in the best picture quality. Lau in the Twitter post said,
