Vivo X60 and X60 Pro are the latest smartphones from Vivo that were announced recently. Similar to its predecessor, X60 series pack in some great specs and features. As of now, these smartphones are only available to pre order in China. But may be in within couple of months or even earlier, we can see these making way to India. So, let’s take a look at what Vivo X60 has to offer and also a compatible Google Camera mod for the same.
Vivo X60 Series Features and Specs:
First of all, let us begin with the Vivo X60 Pro. Starting with the display, X60 Pro features a large 6.56 inches display with 1080 resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate. Also, it is an AMOLED display with HDR 10+ support. And the screen to body ratio is pretty high thanks to its center punch hole and curved corners of the screen.
Next up, for the cameras, it has a 48 MP quad rear camera with the same 4-axis OIS as the previous generations. The rest include 13 MP ultrawide, 13 MP 2x telephoto zoom lens, and lastly 8 MP periscope camera. On the front, you get 32 MP selfie shooter with surely no OIS. Not to mention, these Vivo devices have Zeiss lenses. And it is pretty strange though because earlier we saw this only for Nokia and Sony devices. So, hopefully, you can get better photos.
Talking about strange things, X60 Pro is powered by Samsung Exynos 1080. Again, the Exynos lineup was earlier limited to Moto and Samsung phones. That aside, 1080 is a 5nm octa-core processor with a maximum clock speed of 2.8 GHz. On that note, it will be good to compare this one with Snapdragon 888. On the other side, X60 and X60 Pro come with Android 11 out of the box based on the newly launched Origin OS. To sum up, you get a 4200 mAh battery, Bluetooth 5.1, Dual-band Wi-Fi, and other basic sensors covered.
Coming to Vivo X60 though, nothing much has changed. You get the same display but flat, same processor, up to 8 GB RAM in place of 12, and storage. Now for the things that have changed, X60 miss on periscope lens but the same selfie and other cameras. On the other hand, pretty strange that X60 features 100 mAh more capacity than the Pro version.
In my view, both of these are almost identical devices with the base version hardly missing out on anything. Considering China to India price conversions, there is a good 10k INR price difference. In this way, Vivo X60 makes more sense if the periscope and curved screens are not those that bother.
